They'd both have to do some work with United or West Ham for that to happen, even if they won the World Cup, solved the economic crisis, produced a unified theory of physics and found a cure for cancer. Even then they'd be behind Beckham.

Is it wrong to hope Roy falls on a hedgehog doing the splits right before the world cup and has to miss it due to major testicle reconstruction surgery?

Have a different manager go instead? Bring back capello for the summer perhaps... :D

I must admit Gerrard winning would be nice.

in the infinite universe theory there may actually even be a universe where first off roy hodgson won the euros, they may be another where he led lfc to a league title though both are highly highly unlikely. in fact given how bizarre it would be that either could occur i would postulate that such a though is so unrealistic as to prove that the theory of infinite universes is in fact totally utterly bollox.

Brilliant, mito. As succinct and inarguable rebuttal of the Multiverse theory as anyone could wish for.
