Coincidentally, Tausse is nicknamed in Argentina "The Tin Man", like a former Rangers wide man Ted McMinn, due to his quick and uncomplicated service when the chips are down. He plays wide but likes to tuck in now and again! McCoist thinks that Tausse could possibly be used to beef up the Rangers midfield when required.
