Maybe shearer's against spurs at old Trafford in extra time in the fa cup to clinch a spot in the fa cup final for us.

It was a really tight game both teams up for it in the 90 mins.

Then we got a dubious goal followed o by shearer power blaster from outside the box, just pure emotion.

Bastard club had me going that night I actually thought my life long wait for a trophy might be over... Silly me.

Would have loved to have been Y one of those lower league games last season when both clubs conceded
With the last kick to miss out on promotion one of which was Doncaster
After the team had missed a penalty
That's who we love football eh

I was at the Spennymoor Town game on Saturday. Was stood directly behind the top left hand corner of the opposition goal when Liam Henderson picked up the ball and on the run hit a bullet shot into the top left hand corner. Truly amazing goal <party>

That spooky as I've been visiting an aunt in Spennymoor today, first time I'd been there in a canny few years. Had a few funny looks as I walked along in my Toon top mind.

Of ones when I was actually in the ground the best I have seen for Newcastle was Keiron Dyer against Tottenham in the 6-1 FA Cup win in 2002 (ish).

The most amazing goal I saw was Frank Sinclairs own goal for Leicester - utterly staggering.

Greatness of goals being subjective, I'll share my favourites. I don't really get excited about goals I've not either watched live, or seen on live tv, they don't hold the same feeling.

    1. Tiote's volley. Stonker of a goal, and the importance of it just makes it more special than all the rest I've seen.

    2. Steven Gerrard vs West Ham FA Cup final. Similar to number 1, but obviously without the same emotion.

    3. Michael Owen's goal vs Argentina. Special, special goal. I remember it from my childhood to this moment, without the need for a youtube video. I tried scoring like that down the park for years.

    4. Ibrahimovic vs England. Just ridiculous.

    5. Papiss Demba Cisse's vs Chelsea. Wonderful wonderful strike, that turns out to be a fluky f*** goal <wah>

I love this one, not the best goal by a long shot but the circumstances around it and what it meant for the team coupled with the fact that I was watching it in a British pub on the greek island of Zante at the time.

The bubbles sat by the bar had been going nuts all game up until that point.....funnily enough they all left when this hit the back of the net !

We partied long and hard afterwards !
