Spike at his brilliant manic best. In the stage play, in the midst of his unmedicated manic depression, he basically made it up as he went along, producing a new show every night, before going back to his office and locking himself in, sliding notes under the door. Comic genius, seriously ill bloke and racist all at the same time. We won't be allowed to see his type again.

how did steve martin and de niro end in such ****e as cheap as a dozen and meet he fockers (big paycheck obviously but still) the jerk is a great film
