Did anyone ever see The Bed Sitting Room with a brilliant British cast?
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0064074/

I saw it once when I was a kid and thought it was the funniest thing I had ever seen.

Spike at his brilliant manic best. In the stage play, in the midst of his unmedicated manic depression, he basically made it up as he went along, producing a new show every night, before going back to his office and locking himself in, sliding notes under the door. Comic genius, seriously ill bloke and racist all at the same time. We won't be allowed to see his type again.

I forgot about Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, brilliant film, with the added bonus of one of the sexiest women ever.

It'd be very close to my top 10 - except I feel it loses momentum towards the end. But the first hour is magnificent.

Good old thread this, been out most of the day giving it a lot of thought, or pre-occupied as the Mrs puts it

Easy choices, films I still watch & still laugh with.

The Jerk - Suggested my daughter does some cat juggling today with the kittens she's hand rearing.
The Blues Brothers - We had a band powerful enough to turn goat piss into gasoline
The Life of Brian - I'm not a roman mum, I'm a kike, a yid, a heebie, a hook-nose, I'm kosher mum, I'm a Red Sea pedestrian, and proud of it!
Anchorman - There were horses, and a man on fire, and I killed a guy with a trident
Home Alone & Home Alone 2 - I'm a 10 year old boy TV is my life.
Animal House - **** her. **** her brains out. Suck her tits. Squeeze her buns.
Airplane - They bought their tickets, they knew what they were getting into. I say, let 'em crash.
History of the World part 1 - Could you please step on the same foot at the same time! My tits are falling off!
My Cousin Vinny - A burp is spontaneous. A burp is not romantic
Role Models - Me and the judge have a special relationship. I don't wanna get too graphic but I sucked his dick for drugs.

    Special mentions

Freddie Got Fingered, Road Trip, The Full Monty, Something About Mary, The Martins, The Inbetweeners

A nostalgia type of person wouldn't have only 1 film in his top 10 list made before 1988...

Seriously, it would probably get my vote as the WORST comedy I've ever seen.

    And I've seen Norbit.

I just can't remember any other films

I laugh at films like the great escape so it's hard to find a specific comedy
