I was with you at first, but unfortunately you have now opened a can of worms. Reporting the poster is the same as reporting the site. We are fortunate to have mods on here, you must let them take whatever action they feel is right, not you. That's what the report function is for. Thinking something posted is illegal is different to it actually being illegal. I am not saying your view on the post is wrong only your reaction to it.
To be guilty of inciting racial hatred, someone needs to be incited and nobody is taking the comments seriously except you. I'd also be careful who you report, as in addition to our resident racist, there's also a mafia don posting on here, you could end up at the bottom of the Humber in some concrete boots. Unless that's not serious either...
What action should be taken about this issue Mel?I mean effective action.This is not about whether Prossy being a good player.It is IMO very serious and from what posters have implied ,possibly not the 1st time he has expressed extreme views.I do not know if this is true.If it is then I suggest racist comment is banned by the mods.If it is not then what course of action can decent people follow? I hope there will not be a next time. I suggest you make it very clear that racism will not be tolerated rather than being hissy with someone who points it out. I think aiming criticism at someone pointing out a serious racial slur is a bit strange to be honest.
Of course there'll be a next time, it's the nature of the beast with public forums and why we have mods. People post to get bobble hats going. Rather than feed them, just PM a mod and it can be dealt with without all this fuss. A word of advice, with your name and attitude, you just look like an attention seeking troll.
Use the report function. It's as simple as that. Don't get drawn into making a statement that can be shot down and last but not least don't think that you are representing all City fans. In fact I could point something out, I don't get that your user name is Hull Tigers and you refer to Hull City fans in your last post and I find that odd.
