I just read on autosport that vettel had kers back for his second q3 run so makes Webber pole a little sweeter.
Max Chilton outqualifies both Caterhams and Bianchi, I repeat, in case the shock caused temporary blindness MAX CHILTON OUTQUALIFIES BOTH CATERHAMS AND BIANCHI (ok, not everyone missed it, the shock of reading it may have caused me aforementioned temporary blindness)
Just over 2 pages after qualifying. Have we really got nothing to say now that its accepted Vettel is going to walk the WDC?
Well... it turned out nice again... ... ... erm... might have fish for tea... bass maybe... *sigh* dunno...
Have a look at the prediction table. The scores look very high and we've still got five races to go. All too predictable.
I can see Vettel passing Webber at the start and cruising to victory AGAIN. Alonso will have a great start again and eventually get on the podium, Lewis' tyres will degrade after the first 5 laps and cause him to fight through traffic for the rest of the race, Di Resta & Sutil will retire because they are so crap and Button will have a party because he just about got a point or 2. And that ladies and gentleman will be the story of the race
I think you missed the part where on lap 18 or so Vettel's traction control...sorry ...Kers stops working and he is then repassed by Webber...lol
I'm expecting a Vettel win, so I think I'll sleep through the race and watch the F3 races instead. Red Bull will make sure Webber gets a bad start, so I hope he pays them back and puts Vettel on the grass at the start like Vettel did to Button in 2011.
Activity's low for a number of reasons. I, for one, am back at uni, which A) means a lot of work / rowing and B) means I'm not as freely able to watch the F1. I think also generally there's not a lot to discuss and everything's kind of in the "winding-up-but-not-the-finale" period when F1 seems to sag a bit. (there's an argument against a 22-race season for you)
"It was unlucky for Sebastian. We had an issue with the KERS this morning, we changed as much as we could," Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner explained to Sky Sports F1. "The first session it failed in Q1, it came back in Q2, and then in Q3 it failed immediately. So both Sebastian's laps in Q3 were without the KERS, so a great performance from him to get on the car on to the frontrow."
Gotta laugh at the BBC today, they treated Chilton out qualifying the Caterhams and Bianchi like it was the single greatest moment of the season, the nadir being Eddie suggesting it will lead other teams to consider him for a potential drive. Hopefully the teams struggle a bit with rear degradation as that should spice things up a bit for the race tomorrow.
Generally there's always going to be less activity for the Asian races as everyone's going to be watching it at a different time, some live and some on repeat/Iplayer. For me it was the latter so it meant avoiding this place for the whole day until I had time to watch Quali which was at about 5 in the afternoon.
I'm being ballsy, but i'm predicting Grosjean to win tomorrow. Vettel is struggling with reliablity issues, his luck will run out and he'll retire, which means the race is there for Webber to win. In true Webber fashion, he'll have a terminal mechanical issue, which means it's a fight between Grosjean and Hamilton for the win, and as i loathe Hamilton, Romain is my guy.
Lol why did vettel say he had kers back for q3 run two then, is he wumming the kers conspiracy theorists
