There are another 3/4 strong possibilities for the trip. CorkeR and his 3 generations are hoping to come. It Would be great to meet CorkeR senior and junior. The other person is Cavanrebel (a Cork man living in Cavan) is checking with his work and will let me know Monday.

I need to finalise the numbers by Monday evening as I think the tickets will be going on sale Tuesday morning.

If anybody else is thinking of coming, please let me know Monday at the latest.

Was just wondering if there is any interest in doing a Loftus Road stadium tour prior to the Charlton match.

I have done it before and it is very good.

They do them on match days. It costs £15 for adults and it starts at 10am.

We are due to land in Gatwick about 9. The journey to the Bush takes about an hour. It starts at 10 and take approximately an hour. I suppose time wise, we will be a bit pushed.

We have our 13th person confirmed. Cavanrebel is coming along.

OK, another two flights booked, CORKeR and CORKeR Jr.

CORKeR senior's last remaining gun dog on his death bed (for a couple of months now!) and he will not leave his side. So, CORKeR Snr won't be confirmed until last minute. My mother also got her knee replaced this week so that might further curtail Snr's galavanting.

    Fair play to you CorkeR.

Great news yourself and Junior are going. Did you book the day trip or are you staying overnight?

Shame about CorkeR Senior. Hopefully we will meet him another time.

That's 15 confirmed now. Not bad.

Yiz are way too cultural for me. It's the café, the club shop, the pub, the match and back to the pub for me before heading to Gatwick.

There's always the 15 min jog, the think-in, the think-out(that's always fun, some people bring substances to that, though), and the Acapella, after a shot.
    Something for everyone.

Finglas, unfortunately I'm having to give the Charlton game a miss......would hope to get over for a game during the spring and then Barnsley away to sample the pies as recommended by wubs and celebrate promotion......fingers, toes etc crossed.

See you in a few weeks at kk....

No probs Tramore. Thanks for letting me know. I know you will be there in spirit.

So, we will be 15 Irish R's travelling over. CorkeR and CorkeR Junior are flying separately and do not require train tickets. I have train tickets for 12 adults and 1 child. That covers all of us travelling.

As regards match tickets, BelfastR is getting his own so we need 14 adults and 2 under 16's. This includes match tickets for our international guests Kilburn and Flanman. The match tickets go on sale at 10am tomorrow morning. I will be flying at that time but as soon as I land (about 12 midday) I will get on the phone to purchase the tickets. As soon as I know where we will be sitting, I will post the details here.
