Sorry if there's already been a post about this but I only watched it today. Got it in the post this morning and it's made my night. For anyone needing a bit of happiness due to our current situation buy it and remind yourself of happier times. Only gripe is I would've included the Man City game under O'Neill to the Blackburn one. Sparks amazing memories I was at 5 of the games on the DVD missed the 7-0in of oxford due to Nissan u-11 duties and the Newcastle game because of living away at uni. PS. after watching the Tottenham game on the DVD. I reckon the creativity of zenden and malbranque and the pace and energy of Henderson leaving all at once is still f***ing us now. And on games that missed out I know we didn't win them and they were gutting so shouldn't be on a DVD. But I remember being there when we played Man U in 99, Quinny slid and scored a sort of lob after about 2 mins I think. Then Man U the following year when we battered them and Andy Cole or Dwight Yorke (can't remember which) did a blatant handball in the lead up to an equalizer. Also the 2004 Palace defeat in the playoff 2nd leg was the most extreme swing of feelings (especially after Milwall at Old Trafford a few weeks previous) I've ever felt at a game.

Continuing in the tradition of the club and its previous home Roker Park, the atmosphere is renowned for its passion, so visiting teams always face a daunting trip to the home of the Black Cats. This programme showcases seven of the most sensational games to be played at the Stadium of Light featuring a stadium record 7-0 win, a dramatic Play-off triumph against Sheffield United that climaxed the opening season at the stadium, the apex of the Peter Reid era when Chelsea were blown away before half time, the pulsating final home game of the 2006-07 promotion campaign when Carlos Edwards' thunderbolt sealed a crucial victory, the 'Richardson's rocket' win against the Magpies, the 2010 classic v Spurs featuring Bolo Zenden's stunning volley and the dramatic first game under Martin O'Neill against Blackburn Rovers in 2011. The 4-1 win over Chelsea was the best performance I have ever seen, and I was at all those games on the dvd, Sunderland 5-0 Newcastle October 27th 2013 is the one I would most like to see !.
