    Exactly, plus Abidal's getting on a bit.

    Also "excellent article" and "talksport" shouldnt ever be in the same sentence together.

    Still pushing it a bit for talksport. They'd do well to just write a creditable article.

    Barca move wouldnt shock me, and it's one of the few where I'd be happy for him, rather than angry. He'd be recognised as the fantastic LB he is and would be a dead cert for the national side, which he should have been in this season.

    And, Maxwell is better than Enrique, so why would they want him? If Enrique was SO great, wouldn't he be in the spanish squad as the LB?

    Because he isnt playing European football and therefore they havent considered him. He's way better than Maxwell and probably Abidal.

    You reckon? And on the Spain front before anyone says, they've got a new call up, this guy called Monreal. He's the new Spanish LB, currently at Osasuna

    He's rubbish, we all know this. Everyone knows this, except Garth Crooks. He went as far as to put him in his African XI. That's pushing it a bit, the guy's useless

    Oh yeah, I know I'll be a bit biased but there's not more than 10 better left backs in the world than Enrique IMO. Top 3 or 4 in the PL. There's no question we're losing him this summer, if he was in the spotlight more (European football) he'd have had a call up months ago. Never heard of this Monreal guy (Sanchino, care to enlighten us? ;)) but I heard after Capdevila they had no up and coming LB, they only took one to the world cup.
