Okay Bri same question as welder where are these wins coming from mate? Swansea away point tops the nags at SOL ****ing lottery there is 2 games and November already and, that is assuming the bottom teams above us (if that makes sense) do not get anything at all. Like it or not we are in a fight for our PL lives and, the sooner we and the club realise that the better able to cope with it we will be, sorry about the Yoda language there it sounded better than it wrote.

Yes I can mate, it's amazing what a new manager does for morale, look at PDC when he first arrived, the team jumped through hoops for him. Tell me, did you expect that win at SJP after the dross served up by MON by the very same players? I didn't but look what happened. Also Everton?

From what you are saying, I think you believe we won't win a game this season?

No mate I reckon we will eventually win a few games but, by then will it be too late? Being honest here I can't see us winning till mid December.
Either way I still can't see us winning 4 on the bounce even 3 on the bounce (when was the last time we did that anyone?) and, that is what it will take to get us anywhere near some form of safety.
As said which games do you see us winning out of the next 5 say?
Before you answer that think about the teams we are playing and what sort of season they are having, because if a team is doing poorly or a striker hasn't scored for a couple of months or a goalie needs a good game to get him going which team in the whole of the PL would you be wanting to play? That would be us as we bend over backwards to give teams a boost when they need it.

As it stands right now mate, I can't see us winning the toss cos we're manager less (no offence KB) but who knows what will happen when Short eventually gets his finger out and appoints one?
Swansea isn't beyond us, neither is the derby, even a couple of draws would bring encouragement. I'm not saying we are going to win the next 10 matches and end up qualifying for Europe, I just don't believe our situation is as bleak as you're making it out to be but maybe that's just my 'glass half full' mentality.

That's the million dollar question isn't it fella. Big ask to hit 10 points before the norwich game.

    Swansea away
    Newcastle home
    Hull away
    Stoke away
    Villa away
    West ham away

If we're going to get points this side of the Norwich game they'll have to come from these. Minimum of ten points from those games is needed somehow just to keep in touching distance and we'll still probably be 6 or 7 points a drift. Poyet is going to have organise our defence pretty sharpish to stand a chance.

The new manager thing is my worry lads as we've done it twice now can we do it a third time I'm not so sure this time around.
Hopefully Poyet gets some time to sort us out.

Interesting that on this forum we have a good chance of securing points from teams in the bottom half of the table but not much chance playing teams in the top half I did not realise that football was such a simple game I am entitled to an opinion and to my mind with just a LITTLE luck we could have beaten at least half of the teams we have played so far and with the support they received in the first half against Man U we can still go places

Every manager we've ever had has enjoyed my full support, Mr Poyet will be no different.

To be honest he wasn't my first choice, not for any particular reason either as like a lot on here, I didn't really know who I wanted in. I leant towards Meulensteen but Poyet was always my second choice and is probably the pick of the crop that were touted by the bookies. I like what he did at Brighton and if he can get us playing a similar way i'll be over the moon.
