A couple of things ... a) Harry no longer has any ambition of managing England; b) the FA couldn't afford to pay our fee to educate their England squad.
The title of the thread implies that arry wanted the Swansea way, when really he wanted the Rodgers way as he was the fella he contacted. Yeah I think I worked it out
But most within the game are ignorant bellends who STILL FAIL to realise that it was Martinez who implemented the 'Swansea Way'. Look how quick he has transformed Everton compared to the length of time it took Rodgers
You keep saying stuff like not too bright and thick scouser etc but can't answer the question I'm asking?
What exactly is the question that you are asking that hasn't already been answered many times already?
Now other than a few English players in our setup, Britton, Dyer, Routs, then England would not really benefit from the Swansea way, as much as they would by bringing in Rodgers, now that is not to say it is the Rodgers way, but Rodgers had already been given a season with us, and learning the best way to train our brand of football. If it was as you keep asking, the Rodgers way, then Swansea wouldn't have played it prior to him. Rodgers just had the experience with working with such a system, which other than Martinez, and Sousa, there are no other real candidates. I reckon the fact that Martinez isn't British would be the only reason why Rodgers was Arry's preferred choice. Also the fact Liverpool were lucky to get a point at the Liberty recently will go to show how much the Swansea way is what people are after, not the Rodgers way
