Dont post on here often but here goes. Gutted Jordan has gone but wish him all the best. Ngog if he comes when he puts that shirt on and hits the back of the onion bag for the first time he will be cheered to the rafters as all Sunderland players should be. Lets all calm down and see what the squad looks like when the season kicks off, we are in a period of inflated transfer fees we just have to live with it, whether Ngog is seven or two and a half million does it really matter personally with his pace I think he will come good just give him a chance.
Going back to the original post, I would say in my case it is good to see that there is some sanity around! So good on ya Syd.. As for NGog: I didn't realise that he is only 21 years old, and although I havn't seen too much of the lad, it is interesting that there are plenty of Liverpool fans who are singing his praises. Jordon has shown signs that he has got potential, but I think we are getting a very fair price for him.

it sounds as if we are gonna get Larsson which in all fairness is slightly more proven and can actually take free kicks and can cross a ball better than henderson on a free so £13 million pound at least to mess about with However we have made steady progress and all the fans saying we were lucky to get there, you need that bit of luck ! its the exact same for every team Plus the league was the closest its ever been, the bottom 6 were all on 39-41 points or something werent they ??
Some reservations re Hendo's move: The 4th fixture on the list in 9 days time that I will be looking out for is LFC at SOL. I have this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach that Hendo & Carroll will be a fab combo for LFC. (The 1st & 2nd need no explanation. The 3rd fixture I will look for is Villa at SOL ) Also, I was really looking forward to the U21s, watching out for Hendo (especially) and Welbeck. Does not quite have the same appeal now TBH. I dread to think what Hendo's accent will be like in 2 years time - a mongrel of Scouse and Wearside?
If you looked at the cold facts he did get you to 10th its the manner in which he did it. The 3 month bad run of form and to all there seemed to be little if any progress being made. Wonder how many points Sunlun got the season before this one to finish 13th. IMO was expecting more from Sunlun n sure you lot were, but its hard to call Brucey too much cos he had the rug pulled from under him when Bent left. like I've said many times before the onl;y difference between about 10 clubs is that the odd one has a good goalscorer-which you had- when he went your form fell apart. Bent wanted to go. Hendo wanted to go. Apart from throwing a pot full of cash at unhappy players what could Bruce do? Lets concentrate on players who actually want to play for Sunderland. As for falling apart after Judas left. Crap. Yes we did have a terrible run. It was far more to do with a horrendous run of fixtures playing all the top teams coupled with loosing most of our first team due to injury.
Your missing the fact that each season as well as improved postion we also have had more points. This on top of the fact we had so many injuries and a **** run of games since January. Back to Syd's original post, I've already stated that I didn't want Hendo sold, still wish he was at the club but FFS £20 Mill is a Very Good Price and I wish Hendo all the Best. as for NGog what I've seen of him play I quite like could be good but will reserve judgement. My one fear is that we become a selling club again.

Sorry Cyprusmackem-- not havin a go so dont get all defensive-- but you did fall apart when Bent left -- in terms of results n goals scored. Yes you may have had injuries but the fallout was strangley at the same time as he left. Anyway Judas used to play for Newcastle not Sunlun!!!!
