I can't bring myself to press the Pulis button.

Sorry, just can't vote in favour of the most pragmatic selection

Went for Grant as I have £5 ON At 110-1! Can't be ****ed with it anymore to be honest. Ball would be alright but really we need stability imo whoever it is.

Poyet is about as good as we will get mate, still got a bad feeling about whoever comes in as we could be 9 maybe 12 points from safety when they do turn up.
Seem to remember this sort of delay when Sgt Wilko turned up hope to **** we don't go down the old head experienced once manager as we've done that and it didn't go well.

I wanted McClaren with Ball as his number 2 , but Ellis wouldn't take my advice.

I reckon we'll get Poyet , and hard as I try I can't warm to the idea of Pulis.

Our nearest and dearest up the road will have learned something form our dilemma , If they sack Parsnip there's not much
out there to replace him with.

1/12 on now Talc and all of the other candidates are well drifting out, Pulis and Ball now at 12/1 so it looks like someone is onto something. Agree about the tried and tested old heads bit.. <ok>

SUNDERLAND’S search for a new head coach will NOT involve Ralf Rangnick, despite a flurry of bets on the German.

Former Schalke boss Rangnick saw his odds tumble from 100-1 to 4-1 with some bookmakers last week in the race to replace Paolo Di Canio at the Sunderland helm.

But the Echo understands that there has been no contact between the Black Cats and English-speaking Rangnick, who held talks over the vacant managerial positions at Everton last summer and West Brom 12 months earlier.

Sources close to Rangnick have also suggested that he is happy in his current role as a director of football for both Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig and is unlikely to welcome any advances from Sunderland.

Rangnick is thought to have been a name that has been debated among Sunderland’s hierarchy, but the club are still keen to appoint a younger, “tracksuit” manager to replace Di Canio, as the Echo reported when the Italian was axed a fortnight ago.

At 55, Rangnick does not fit that profile and he has been out of the dug-out since leaving his role at Schalke due to poor health in 2011.

Pulis in the lead eh, with a bit of help from Newcastle and Liverpool fans. Some Sunderland fans too. Makes you wonder their line of thinking when they've voted for a man rival fans are voting for to take the piss. <laugh>

Looks like its Poyet.

Think we'd all take that to be honest?

I'll take anyone mate as I don't have a choice. They'll get my support no matter what. Poyet is my number 3 choice atm, changes regularly. If it is pulis I'll be gutted but still sing his name like with any.
