it's a strange division so far!

i'll give it another 5 games before the league starts to even out and we can see where we stand. i think on what i've seen so far, that we'll be in the bottom half but i don't think we will go down and i suspect we'll get more points than last season too

    why?

played extremely well today, lots of positives. not a lot we can do about other teams! just have to get our own house in order, which it looks as though is happening. we were 19th after 7 games last season and as you keep telling us, we only won 4 of our last 21 games that season yet still stayed up. long way to go...

Last season after 7 games we were second bottom, had only 3 points and a negative GD of -12 <yikes> -- and we finished 11th. After this afternoon, definitely glass full for me (and we are only 3 points off 11th place too). <laugh> <ok>

That WHU result isn't the only crazy thing. Lawro got 9 out of 10 of his predictions for the weekend right <yikes>. Maybe we should take him seriously after all, especially as he is tipping us for a mid-table finish. <ok>

If we played like that against 12-14 sides in this division, we'd have got something from the match. More than likely a win <ok>

Chelsea - don't ask me how, have this 'magical' ability to summon circa £60m worth of talent off the bench with 7 minutes to go. It proved decisive.

I think we know our best starting eleven now, although I'd still be tempted to start with Bennett ahead of Turner. ****ing proud of the boys and the fans tonight.

Proud of CH too. Standing strong despite the totally undeserved level of criticism and worse, sticking to his guns and on the way to being vindicated. Fully deserved the complimentary comments from Jose afterwards as well. <ok>

All you can do is put in the performance and wait for that minor bit of luck or class to tell, today luck went against us Ba was offside and it looked like he handled it , we should have had a pen but fair play they had too much quality in depth had that been any of the bottom 14 we would have won

Its always going to be hard for us in this division but we soldier on i'm sure we will be fine but its always going to be tight for the bottom half of the division with only a few points separating phew! from the drop , when we were last playing u Mikey I never imagined we were destined to charge to the top, but to save our bacon can you add "FACT" to your prediction please?

Lawro's just compensating for last season when he had you second bottom in his table, a prediction which would've been spot on if it was for this season. <ok>

BTW I'm glad some of you feathered critters are 'keeping the faith' with Hughton, so he can continue the admirable job of relegating you. <laugh>

    ColU rule OK! :emoticon-0103-cool:
