For you lads with eagle eyes, who's there? Pullis in his Bart Simpson attire, ready to turn his cap, Mcleish looking like a tall Scotsman with a kiss me quick bowler on, Rasnick with everyone wondering, who's he or Poyet with his Lee Van Cleef blacks on looking serious.. Any feelers?
I'm hoping, no expecting an announcement either tonight or at the latest tomorrow about he permanent replacement. It won't be Kevin. He's done his bit and given the team do self belief back and on another day, with better finishing and without the save of the season, could have scored 2 or 3 against the league champions. That's as well as we've played for months and as good as expected given our perilous situation. We are now 2 results off safety and whilst the panic button isn't being pushed, my finger is hovering above it. We cannot go into the Swansea game with a caretaker manager. We have a better set of games coming up to allow a new man to get us going. If we do go into the Swansea game with a caretaker, then I am pushing the button good and proper.
Thought we played great today. And unlucky not to get at least a point!! We've got a couple easier games coming up now so we should start to pick up some points..
I'm resigning myself to life in the championship already, unless whoever comes in can do whats never been done before in history, not holding my breath mate Has to be now!
Hardly "great" mate. Some positives, yes, but gave the ball away too easily too many times, to be worth a "great"
Don't play great with a one goal lead and get beat mate, some decent stuff in the first half however the second was ****ing pants.
Well i've just put £10 on at 33/1 with betvictor 14/1 with will hill, ladbrokes, skybet & 365 do not have open books
Needs to have done some homework on the squad he will inherit,ie by way of studying footage of all our games so far this season. At least he will have a little bit of a headstart in seeing the players in match conditions (lets face it it will give him a bit of an insight of almost the whole squad, given that the majority have been involved to date). He can then assess throughout the next few weeks on the training ground, that is if Ellis makes the decision tomorrow. As mentioned by Cest in this post,we simply cannot go into the Swansea game with a caretaker manager still at the helm. Another good point,if the new guy starts this week certain members of our squad will be on international duty and therfore not around to excert their influence (I think you know who I mean). Lets get up and running now!
You know, Poyet has stated that since he left brighton he's watched every minute of every game of premiership clubs with managers with unstable jobs including Sunderland.
innit. Do you get the feeling he's bullshiting a bit. Does like the sound of his own voice. Maybe Poyet's real name is Two ****s.
