Would you lot accept Ball as permanent manager?

He's had you play decent football from what I've seen the past two games.

37% possession at home says it all really.

Donga-Wonga did OK, he was a nuisance throughout, ran at every lost cause and created a couple of chances <ok>

Yes we were 1-0 up but when we didn't have the ball we were chasing it and still looking very nervous. That's to be expected when you're bottom of the league. Midfield were struggling. I honestly don't think we looked like we'd beat them at half time. We gave the ball away far too easily. Too many passes went astray.

At the same time there were a lot of positives. My god we've missed Catts. Gardner did a decent job. Johnson looked good in the first half and looked like he was up for it. Giaccherrini(?) and Roberge looked like they can do a good job. Shame about the lack of composure in front of goal though.

But what happened during the break? A different team walked out. It was like, sh!t, we're 1 up against the champs. What are we doing? This isn't in the script! And that's where I think Bally blew it, at half time. He then followed it up with some bizarre substitutions.

Mad as it may seem, I still think a new manager has enough quality there to turn it around. So Ellis, get the right man WHATEVER IT COSTS!!!

Don't think you lot deserve to be bottom. Debatably deserved something from the game. Though we didn't take all our chances. You don't look like a bottom of the table team at all.

Good luck for the season chaps <ok>

It's a bit tough down here atm, but I agree in every game we've seen decent glimpes of what might be good team.

If it wasn't for a great save from de gea we'd have been two down and would have probably lost.

I thought you played well. You also have enough good players too. Always rated Adam Johnson.

I think we all have. Apparently he's been in negotiations with Anne Robinson to host a BBC show about him. For someone who is meant to be one of our best communicators, he's not very ****ing good at it. Time to switch captains, at the very least. step back up to the plate Lee Cattermole.
