    Oh dear!!
Celtic would struggle to stay in the EPL. We know it, you know it.........everyone knows it!

Give them the money and they'll do fine. As would Rangers. Not that I want them to join, but there is no answer to this argument until they do. Shame that a league that produced European Cup winners has fallen so far. Its reaching the completely uncompetitive level of Welsh and Scottish rugby union. Turn up and you are in Europe.

Problem is - you don't, and that's not going to change any time soon. Be happy being top boys in a very poor league, getting your CL bonus every year, thus furthering the gap between yourselves and the rest of the competition.

And you accuse English clubs of trying to get SPL players on the cheap - the Old Firm having been doing that for years - as soon as there's an upcoming star they pile in offering more than the smaller teams, then stick the players in the reserves, thus stifling their development and crippling the national team at the same time.

Face it, Celtic will not be invited to the top table of English football any time soon - and as was stated earlier in the thread, if you get Independance next year it can never happen. Celtics best bet would be the North Atlantic league that was suggested a few years ago.

Why stop at letting Scottish teams in to England? Let the best Belgian sides go to Holland, the best Portuguese sides into Spain etc. Maybe a great big Soviet Union league and eventually merge them all into one huge Euro Super League for all the big clubs to fap over while the rest of us get on without them.

I don't think the exclusive members only Euro league is that far off Watford, if the TV companies want to pay for it. This Qatar World Cup fiasco might hurry it along as well. Not sure if I would care that much, especially if it evens the national leagues out.

Your big league has 2 teams from a non football nation aat the moment ( wales)who survived on 5000 crowds for years and are doing fine , celtic 60000 rangers 50000 both have real fans not there to take photo's like most of the epl teams

Do you want in or not? Come for the £ but despise the EPL fans? Just how big is that chip on your shoulder?

Your Dutch comparison is laughable. They export players because they have good players to export, and their national team seems ok with it. Scotland have to turn to the likes of Jamie Mackie (born in Surrey). Apparently you also enquired about Fitz Hall a few years back......the once great Scottish talent pool has disappeared, and you can't blame the English for that. Only a third of Celtics squad are Scottish, according to Celtic wiki, so you hardly represent the nation. Of course there will be even fewer if you were admitted to the EPL.

Before you come back with how crap the England team is, we know we have sold our souls to the premier league devil and are suffering the consequences.

Typical Celtic fan with a massive chip on his shoulder. They don't give a toss about their own league, as they can't wait to be out of it, using it only as a means of access to the cash cow Champions League. The downfall of Scottish football lies solely at the feet of the Old Firm and their desperation to beat each other.

Ok hoody, you don't seen like a bad lad in fact when a supporter of a massive club comes on here to argue with a pishy wee team, it makes me believe QPR are getting somewhere, but please tell me is it any fun supporting Celtic, it must be dull as hell just turning up and winning the league cause rangers ain't there.

Hold on one moment, one post Celtic getting it tight for getting beat by Morton next post boring winning every game , please make up your minds up. I said earlier I watch Celtic every game , home / away / abroad ,don't feel sorry for me , feel sorry for yourselves for following meaningless English clubs .Go and ask Martin O'neill how big Celtic are , a manager that has over 300 epl games under his belt , ask him his biggest games with the best atmosphrere , I suggest it would be european final, old firm games , european nights at Celtic Park , days celtic won scottish league and scottish cup finals , his time in England wouldn't come into it.
