Let's hope none of the panel watched any part of his 2nd half performance on Tuesday But very promising to see one of our players even getting mentioned for any form of award.. does anyone know the last time we had a player nominated or even won?? But congrats to McG and hopefully he can sustain his improving form
We often have players in the Championship team of the week as anyone does but I think it's been years since anyone won player or manager of the month. George Burley might have been the last man to get a seasonal award. I think McCarthy was nominated for MotM last Autumn.
I remember Marcus Bent getting it in the PL a few years back, other than that noone springs to mind. I'm surprised Cresswell hasn't been nominated for it tbh, look at every goal we've scored this season, literally he's involved in 90% of them

He also seems like he is quite grounded and is still looking to improve. Apparently our last player to win was Wickham in 2011
Great news... if not a little bit surprising. He's had a very good month but I'm sure there will be a few players in the championship who feel they deserved it more with many fans agreeing with them.
Agree KOPR, he has had a good month but I think Cresswell has been better for us in the past month, was quite shocked but good on him. Hopefully he can score away from home tomorrow.
