Lads ive read all the posts throughout last night and, living down here on Merseyside (exiled season ticket holder) ive also scoured the local press and websites and for the life of me, I can find no bloody reference that this deal includes 7 million for Ngog.Either someone is causing mischief or the details of the deal have been disclosed illegally,Can anyone shed any light where this 7 million Ngog clause has come from.Radio city are reporting that its 17.5 for Henderson and 2.5 for Ngog
In work now folks and the Kopites (even the blue noses agree) there is no way Ngog could be valued at 7 million...again please let me know where this has come from if you can folks.
May be the Daily Mail but even they get it right sometimes. Only updated 10 minutes ago. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Liverpool-snap-Jordan-Henderson-20m-deal.html
It's just been of ssn. David Craig reporting the financial details of the transfer are not known as they have not been released by the clubs! This 7mil figure is just complete speculation on twitter and everyone has jumped straight on it! We need to wait until the official figures come out!
Nothing about money of safc.com yet - just deal agreed Unless the same agents manage both Hendo and N'gog, perhaps they are two individual deals? I don't know how these 2 way transfers work. Also, seems N'gog is on £40k/wk. Can't see SAFC paying that for a 3rd/4th striker so there may be a few hiccups yet, or LFC may "do a Kenwyne" and sub up some of his remaining contractual wages?
George Caulkin who is the bloke who has tweeted the story throughout the past few weeks (with fairly accurate information along the way) has stated that he has a very ITK source who said late Tuesday evening the clubs were discussing 13 million for Hendo plus 7 for N'gog. He then goes onto Tweet that the only a few further hours had passed before SSN and BBC released their statements and therefore he says he doesn't think the package will have altered. I don't know if you follow football news on Twitter but this guy is fairly respected and the information provided accurate. I for one see no reason not to believe the figures are accurate or very very close to being accurate. I'm sure it will all be confirmed by SAFC after the relevant medicals. http://twitter.com/#!/caulkinthetimes
Interesting, a substantial number of us were happy to get 12 million for Henderson just a few days ago ...
and that shamless is what pisses me off, lets change opinion so we can kick Bruce, again. Now you have started me off again
I don't understand how people were happy to get £12m. We were told he'd be sold for no less than £20m. I'm not disappointed at Bruce on this one. It's Quinn and Walton who've cocked up.
It's a shame than i'm the only Sunderland supporter who has been able to see the qualities that Henderson offers. The qualities that have the big clubs attracted to him are very, very rare. Fair enough he can't tackle for **** and had been below par for a couple months, but you can't take away from Henderson his rare qualities. You will see in a team that plays proper football, Henderson will shine. You can find players like N'Gog ABSOLUTELY ANYWHERE.
The valuation comes entirely from you guys. If you're accepting £13mill plus N'Gog, but you're valuing Henderson at £20mill (and only want to sell him for at least £20mill in value) then that deems N'Gog to be worth £7mill.
