Agree, I think Quinn will give us a more solid midfield with Boyd to come on if he's tiring or we need something to try and change things.
Ideal situation is Quinnie inside and Boyd LW in a 5 across MF. Quinn is more of a playmaker and Boyd more of a goal threat IMO. If Bruce stays 4-4-2 then its Quinn for 60 and Boyd as the impact sub against tiring legs for the last 30. Both outstanding players and we're lucky to have them.
I think it's just the reverse, Boyd first with his skill then Quinnie later with his speed and energy when the others are flagging a bit. I think City have a poor record against Villa at home, I hope we can put that to right.
He may not like it but I think Boyd is an excellent supersub. Because he's quite slow starting the guy could be harmful to us but if he comes one around 65th minute when everyone is already quite warmed up he has an edge.
What a nice discussion to be having. Quinn for me too but it's a good position for us to be in where we have genuine contention for the starting place from 2 quality players.
