With Joe Hart having problems at the moment with his form what are the chances of a recall for Rob Green? Wouldn't be surprised to see Hodgson or one of his scouts checking him out on Saturday.
Rather he didn't at the moment - all he needs is a very public howler or a poor team performance -and the bastard media will be all over him again, and all the confidence might just drain away. Shot stopping at the moment is fantastic, but kicking on the floor last week was dodgy. Would love to see him back in the England set up one day, but for purely selfish reasons I want him to keep his mind concentrated on Rangers for the moment.
King hell Nines, that hadn't even occurred to me. He's another one on a fat pay cheque though, be surprised is anybody would match it. Can't see anyone coming in for Cesar, he's not going to get a game at this rate.
Not a chance. There's three or four ahead of him in the pecking order. Foster, Forster and Ruddy are all in front of him I would say. He's no spring chicken and he's playing in the Championsh*t. We saw the difference between Ch'ship and PL keeping with fatty Kenny. One of the best in the 2nd tier but was found out the next level up. Also, his World Cup calamity will count against him because, whether fair or not, its always fresh in the minds of England fans.
On the other hand, an England call up with good performances might just help transform him from a good / very good keeper to a great one. Nevertheless, seems pretty unlikely.
I still don't trust Green's nerves enough for him to be England's Keeper. On the other hand, from glimpses I see of Hart these days I don't want him either.
After all the criticism he faced with England, I don't think Rob Green owes them anything He's enjoying his football at the minute and long may it continue
England squad: Goalkeepers: Fraser Forster, Joe Hart, John Ruddy Forster was in excellent form for Celtic yesterday. Perhaps he should get the nod ahead of flapper Hart for the next game? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24382665
