    Looks like we've just sold Jordan Henderson for £13m. A good deal you might say...

    It also looks like we've effectively signed David N'Gog for the princely fee of £7m.

    Feel free to hurl abuse at Steve Bruce/Quinn on this thread.

    If you'll excuse me I'm going to go and buy myself a Hartlepool strip.

    Genuinely feel for you guys. It's promising that the North East are producing some top drawer footballers, just a shame that none of them have an ounce of loyalty or decency and will abandon their boyhood clubs at the drop of a hat.

    Plus N'gog is ****e. Good point about disloyal 'north-easterners though'. Do you think Sunderland fans will refer to him as Judas and treat him like we treat Carroll?

    Cant understand this, why wouldnt you take 20mil and find a European bargain striker over N'Gog. I almost sympathise, but then you guys wouldnt if it was us, so...

    This is a perfect deal. Sunderland will miss out on lots of cash and get a **** striker, and Liverpool have paid a good chunk for a midfielder which, imo, is overrated and isn't THAT great as everyone seems to think he is.

    What puzzles me is, where will henderson play? They seem pretty overstocked with midfielders don't they? Like I thought we were until a few days ago...
