    #SAFC value Hendo at £20m - want £13m plus N'Gog.

    ================================================

It's not just him either. It's a good few twitter sources saying it too. This means we are willing to pay £7million for a striker who I've just seen has scored 9 goals in 63 games for liverpool.

I've been disappointed that Henderson would most likely be leaving but this is just a total kick in the face. £7million for N'Gog proves the footballing world has gone mad! I really hope I am proved wrong and I'll fully support the lad but this is obscene.

We could take Bothroyd on a free who has proven himself at championship level and could do very well in the prem IMO, we could take DJ Campbell for around £1mil who got 13 goals in a season, neither are going to set the world on fire but surely more value for money than N'Gog.

Again like I say I don't want to write him off before he even signs but this is the sort of over priced signing that would make Roy Keane blush....

Have to say I agree with that...if this is the deal I am not a happy bunny!.... but I will support the lad and you never know he could turn out to be a gem (Welbeck)

Oh my dear lord. This is ridiculous. I REALLY hope N'gog has an exceptional season because otherwise we've been well and truly shafted.

Yesterday on the N'Gog thread I was one of the very few who said I wouldn't mind him at SAFC. I was most definitely in the minority, and I said a good deal would be £18.5m + N'Gog. £13m and N'Gog is simply ludicrous and that's from someone who said I wouldn't mind him- the majority are going to be absolutely seething.

Stupid stupid stupid deal. Surely we could have got him for less than £7m?! I would definitely rather have had Bothroyd or Campbell and the £18m or whatever.

I'd much prefer to have taken £20mil then gone for the realistic targets of:

    Larsson
    Vaughan
    Bothroyd
    Pav
    N'Zogbia/Kranjcar

    For that amount of money....

Not a big fan of Bothroyd (don't think he's any better than N'Gog) but would rather have £7m AND Bothroyd than N'Gog. :(

He's a big lad and has got a tonne of goals in the championship. I think he'd do an alright job for us and he wouldn't be on silly wages and would be a free transfer. No risk.

Oh I feel this really is the cock up of all cock ups.

You could say it's the straw that broke the camels back.

You could say it's the cock that broke Bruce's back.

would hope we can get abit more money from Liverpool 15-18m + N'Gog but I think he would be a decent signing as a back up striker.

Bring Pavyluchenko in and I would be happy with Gyan/Pav/N'Gog/Sess (emergency striker)

Yeah that's the winner, no risk cos he's free anyway. I'd prefer that to N'Gog for £7m :(

I suppose if we're looking for positives N'Gog is younger?

What's all the fuss about. I seem to recall the shouts of derision when we brought Welbeck and Bramble to the club but not long after the start of the season that had all died down. All I am saying before you go complaining is give the lad a chance.
