Hello, scores are wiped clean as we start the October league (existing scores carried forward for the season total)
Time to make it a bit more interesting - I intend to do a cup competition in November to run alongside the November league.
It will be open to the top 16 finishers in the October league. It will be a seeded
competition and so who finishes top in October will play who finishes 16th, 2nd will play 15th etc. It will be a knockout competition. In November there will be extra predictions to make for the top 16 and you will be up against your opponent in the draw. Going into the next week we will be down to 8 players, the following week 4 players left and the final will be between the last 2 players. i will give more detail before it starts.
So to confirm there will be a November league as normal and this will be in addition to that for the top 16 finishers of the October league. So your challenge is to finish in the top 16 this month. If there is a draw for 16th place in the October league the penalty shoot out will be who scored most pts in saints score preditions, if still a draw, most pts in pompey predictions and if still level after that then most pts in bonus goals over the month. This may or may not influence where you play your joker in the league games.

NEW FEATURE FROM LAST SEASON -For those of you who remember its a knockout you could play your joker to double your points in a game. Put a (J) against your most confident prediction to double your points for that prediction. This can be used for any prediction except the bonus goals. so can be used in any game prediction, goalscorer etc. You will therefore pick up 6pts for an exact score, 2pts for correct result and 6 pts goalscorer/other prediction.
Its just a bit of fun each week and you dont have to play each week. There will be a weekly winner and at the end of the month a league winner for the person scoring the most points in that month. For those really competitive ones and ones that can last the pace there will also be an end of season winner for the one who has accumulated the most points over the season.
As usual 6 results to predict inc Saints and pompey games, plus three other predictions for the weekend games.

correct result (home win/away win/draw) = 1 point
3 points for each of the 2 other correct predictions.
