To be honest whilst I do not mind them on here and if I met them face to face I dare say enjoy a pint with them I do find much of the banter tedious. I never visit their forum and rarely reply to the wum posts
I know mate, lets just hope its a turning point and we can move onwards and upwards, some show their disappointment more than others anyone would think we had lost

Just got back from the game. My oh my! Why did I pay to see that absolute dross. People might scorn at the negativity, in that we did win 2-1 but we limp over the line as always. B'mouth looked average, but they also played with 10 men for most of the game. Not at all surprised Ross missed the penalty, he looked off mentally all game. We nearly gave them the customary visitors point at the end when we feel asleep after a break in play for an injury allowing them back into it at 1-1. Luckily Poleon was gifted the ball unmarked in the penalty area and couldn't miss. Didn't like the way he runs over to the touchline to celebrate by pointing to his name on his shirt. We play as a team and not as individuals, and he had no right in my eyes to flaunt like he did. That's just me maybe. What annoys me is we have a few decent chances at the end to sow the game up with them stretched at the back, but we MUST play the ball into the corner flag rather than hold onto possession and try and work the ball into the net. Few points: Mowatt looked great especially as he is so young Hunt was more than useless. I don't know how he has managed to kid Brian into thinking that he is a striker (or even footballer). Green and Warnock did okay. Ross had another off game for me. Tonge non-existent

Just back and we were diabolical. There is zero confidence in the team. Something is very wrong. Ross's penalty miss and the soft goal we conceded show how bad things are. I am seriously worried now. However if breaking the run was the big problem then perhaps that 5 wins , 1 draw and 1 defeat might prove very accurate. Mclaren will be in the derby hot seat on Saturday that will make things a bit easier. Are our friends in the south a bit less vocal tonight?
Interesting to hear the views of the lads that were at the game. Is it fair to say lads, after ten games, that is basically all this current crop seems capable of? Certainly seems that way. Not looking forward to the weekends game against a bogey team of ours
Oh dear.... Was hoping it was me being a miserable git but Orion and glory hunters summary of the game doesnt make good reading
From what it sounded like on the radio, had we scored a few of the missed chances you'd have all been coming back saying what a great performance it was.
But we didn't. We veered from everyone being too scared to take a shot. Twice we had attacks where there were four or five chances for someone to put boot through the ball and shoot and we dallied. Worse we then turned into a team of ten year olds where everyone is running for the same ball and getting in each other's way. It's hard to believe they train together. Hunt is rhyming slang.
How could McD have been so wrong about hunt. I remember when he signed him he said Leeds fans would love him because of his work rate in every game. Did he sign the wrong hunt maybe?
Yeah he signed a useless hunt, I still have faith in McD but his previous roles as a scout are not really paying off. Feck the loans, play mowatt and poleon.
I think it just about summed up Hunts contribution when he slid in and tackled his own man when we looked to break on the counter. I really don't know what he was thinking
Just a small point looking at the penalty video again. The guy who cleared it had actually encroached 3-4 yards before Rossco hit the ball. We would have scored if he hadn't. Don't you just love the contribution of assistant referees?
Was at the game and even though I agree we lacked confidence negativity is not going to help that. We need to look at it season by season rather than game to game and when you look at it like that we haven't seen passing like this for ages. Even when we've lost we've still pasted it around, midfield got involved ect. We might lose some but at least we're winning well. We've come very far since last season but we're still a few quallity (i.e 1 million pound sterling+ wisely invested) players off promotion and that's why fans are been negative. As much as we try to deny it a sizeable majority of fans aren't happy until we're champions and our exceptions and reality isn't matching up. You think if Bournemouth and Barnsley were in our situation they would be unsatisfied? And don't give me that 'Well we're Leeds United' crap we haven't spent much more if at all than the likes of Barnsley and Bournemouth this season. Look at the positives and not the negatives because there ain't a damn **** we the fans can do to solve the negatives except support the team.
Well said King Of course there are quite a few on here who seem to think all you need to do to support a team is listen to the radio and write on forums.
Morning all. A win's a win, especially after so many defeats recently. Not sure why Diouf didn't come on last night. Playing against 10 men, needing to move the opposition around. Absolutely made for Diouf. Pity about Hunt. Commentators were saying he just needs a goal to give his confidence a lift. Doubt he'll start on Saturday, which will now be even more interesting than usual given Derby's amazing fight back. Heyho, up to 9th= 5pts off play offs. Cheer up one and all.
