On saturday I listened to the commentary from behind my sofa, but tonight there isn't room to hide behind the guy in front, I'll have to watch. If we go out on a damage limitation exercise it will be an insult to the fans and I'll leave when the score is 0-2. All I'm hoping for is a team which lives up to Wilson and Morro's fighting talk, and I mean wanting to do something with the ball, not flying into tackles. No players running to the other side of the pitch when we have a throw-in, please. The team which plays will be probably 4 players different from the one I'd like to see, so here's hoping the manager is right and I am wrong.
Cheers Vol. I'll name that tune in......3. I agree with both Vol and Bill in that I think this will be a significant evening and I don't think it will be pretty. Mind you, I went to the Cardiff game last year expecting a drubbing and at 0-2 was about to get very grumpy indeed. If this is as grim as Millwall I suspect something has to give. Not saying I want that, but I think there will be an inevitability about it. It may of course be CP walking rather than being pushed.
"I had a freebie for Middlesborough and still wanted a refund" - Love it! Can't see us winnng this, we're playing too badly, but if the fighting talk is translated into positive action on the field, I can see us getting a respectable point. So - 1-1.
Suffering from concussion... Yay! Hughes on the bench - must be back in favour. Not exactly sure why he was out of favour. Rather see him on the field than Gower.
Twitter seems to suggest Wilson is having a top game. You just fear if we don't score they'll take their next opportunity..
