    I saw that I think Hamer would have called, Cort said he didn't hear it and both gave each other a rollicking yet Jacko came and told Cort to calm down when he saw it, but that's just a thing, there is always arguments between defenders and keepers, especially when a team performance is as bad as the forest one

    Joking aside it is extraordinary the bile and vitriol a defeat can bring up.Two seperate posters have described it as the worst performance for 40 and 45 years respectively.A bit of over reaction me thinks .Only problem is on here it just goes deathly quiet when we lose.Thats why I wander over to have a look .

    Serious over reaction, yeah we were poor (sorry guys haven't managed to see us win a point all season) but seen pleanty of performances just as bad or worse in the last few years. It seems we have a few games every season that in someone or others eyes is the worse they've ever seen and all that lark.

    I am looking forward to tonight's game. Either way, something has got to give.

    Is it to be another inspired, Cardiff- like fight back off the ropes like we saw under Powell last season ?

    Or a Sheffield United like capitulation, like we saw under Pardew when things were also at rock bottom ?

    Either way, I hope the fans chant against the owners loudly tonight. They have got to sell up at a realistic price, and go.

    BBC reporting that JJ, Solly and Cort are all out tonight, together with Pritchard, who's got concussion. Expect them all to line up, then...

    Have to say that I'm getting a bit concerned about Solly's injury - I think this may be the longest spell he's ever had out and the club hasn't been exactly lavish with the details. Hope we're not looking at an operation here.

    I wonder if Solly's "injury" is linked to his new long term contract, and the January transfer window.

    Solly did have a few injuries when he was younger. He always seemed to get injured when he had a chance to break into the team. I too get concerned about knee injuries- remember how Rufus fought for so long against his knee problem, in the end he and Rowett both retired prematurely at about the same time with knee injuries. This list of injured players- Kermit's name not there means he's playing? Since no-one has made a new thread for this year's Forest game here is my team:

    Hamer;
    Wilson, Morro, Wood, Evina:
    Hughes, Cousins, Poyet:
    Harriott, Pigott, Kermit;

    playing 4-3-3 without wingers. Not saying this team would win, but that front 3 would at least threaten the Forest goal at some point.

    I think we will either squeak a win, or get flattened.

    I do agree with the 4-3-3, but I would go with -

    Alnwick
    Wilson Morro Wood Evina
    Hughes Cousins Dervite
    Harriott Stewart
    Kermit/Church

    I think its gonna be 4-5-1 again to try and nullify the Forest Midfield...

    Hamer
    Wilson - Morrison - Dervite - Wiggins
    Stewart - Cousins - Stephens - Gower - Harriott
    Church

    Bench: Alnwick, Evina, Wood, Hughes, Sordell, Kermorgant, *Youngster*

    God I hope they don't try and nullify forest like the did burnley. Better teams will open us up far too easily.

    Jeez, have we sunk so low into a pit of apathy that we are regurgitating old match threads!!!!!

    Going tonight for the first as a paying customer in the league this season (I had a freebie for Middlesbrough and still wanted a refund!). More in hope than expectation. I'll reserve judgement until I've seen the game but all feels very dark at the moment. Mirrored by the lack of activity (apart from bile and vitriol) on the Message Boards. Not quite sure how all this gets resolved. Owners clearly in a bad place, CP getting found out tactically, players down in the dumps, crowds dwindling. Squad weakened. Apart from that.............Let's hope for a rousing night a la Cardiff last year. I rather suspect it won't happen though, but we live in hope. Hmmmmmm.
