TWTD have finally actually said Chopra bid allegedly gone in. £1mill http://www.twtd.co.uk/news.php?storyid=18546&title=town_again_linked_with_chopra_bid Maybe this rumour has more substance afterall... hope so Though, even Phil admits, he is unlikely to sign until after their new manager comes in... sad times...
At least your clubs put in a bid for somebody you might have a chance of getting this time. He's had his day now so other clubs won't be much interested in him so he'd might be tempted by your offer. I see you've been interested in Danny Green, I don't believe your even serious about him, he's had offers from Peterborough, Orient and Crawley so you wouldn't get a look in.
cardiff fan here. personally all logic suggests that we wouldnt sell chopra without having appointed a new manager, so any reports of a deal being agreed would appear to be premature. anyway £1.2m is a joke fee lets be honest for a striker who has a proven record of scoring goals at this level, and also didnt do much harm to his reputation at sunderland too. the fact that after all the loanees leaving us, and bothroyd leaving means he's our only senior striker at the club, so the club would be mad to sell him, especially at such a pathetic fee as £1.2m
assuming you support Barce or Real Madrid Spike who can attract the very best worldwide? Or is it dirty yellow budgie scum perhaps? Tell me those household names you have already signed again?
Wales on-line, the font of knowledge?, believe that Town and Cardiff have agreed a fee of 1.5 Mil for Chopra. Looks like Johnny's crystal balls may be working after all!
