Westwood Celustka, Jos, Diakite, Colback Cattermole, Ki Karlsson, Giacherinni, Johnson Altidore Mannone, Roberge, Larsson, Borini, Cabral, Wickham & Mavrias. It's a toss up between the keepers as both are average IMO and I'm looking to try Karlsson just to add some pace and more goal threat. Diakite better than Cuellar and despite OSheas lack of pace, he gets the nod for me. Giacherinni must play central role and we will have to go did for the game. Man Utd maybe struggling slightly but if we sit back they will destroy us. Maybe Ballys last game or maybe not but time to give he likes of Karlsson a rim out for as we completely lack pace. Upwards and onwards lads.
Hope you meant give Karlsson a run out mate or else this thread will drop into the gutter in a matter of seconds. Team looks fine to be fair decent options from the bench as well. I've said this everytime we play a top team we have nowt to lose so lets get at them and give them a hard time, let them know they've had a game instead of the usual give them loads of space to do what they want routine.

i would prefer someone else at the back to jos. he has been a bit of a liability all season. i still cant belive we played jos and cuellar yesterday. diakite looked like a beast against arsenal and won a load of headers and made a few good challenges. the way we have struggled with set pieces i thought he was a shoe in
Not JOS biggest fan mate but couple him with someone fast and he should be okay, whether that'll be good enough against Man Utd is a different matter.
i agree he's the lesser of 2 evils beetween him and cueller but to play them both is asking for problems imo
I like the team - I don't think it'll be the one played but I like the team!! We need pace running at their defence - Rio cannot keep up any more and Giaccherini, Johnson (honestly he is quick - I saw him run once) and Karlsson will be a good shout. We can live in hope
Sorry Marcus, you can like it all you want, but facts are, we will not see a team containing neither Larsson nor Gardner for some time yet.
I'm not disagreeing with the team marra, just the fact that, some players must do something special in training, or have some kind of hold.
Not sure on Karlsson, maybe move Giac out to the wing and bring in Borini? Never seen Borini play yet though so not sure what his defending will be like when we dont have the ball.

Yes this team for me as well, might even play Mavrias over Johnson (this lad has to pull his finger out) in my opinion.
Must win for both teams, thought you were unlucky against Liverpool and deserved at least a point but Webb was awful,hope for a good game.
change gardner for cerluska and i would be happy with that. cerluska has been one of the better signings from this summer glut and is better going forward then gardner
I think were thinking to same as I agree with the above I have not seen enough of Cerluska, I have been away for the first few games so did not see any of them. I thought his final ball looked a bit suspect against Liverpool where as Gardner always offers a threat from long distance and a 2nd option on set pieces, plus if we get a pen we know its going in.
