Pardew got his tactics wrong again for me! Tried to sit back and hit them on the break in first half! Clearly wasn't working after 20 mins and should have been changed. Waiting till the second half to let our players play to their strengths was far too late being 3-0 down! Saying that, as mentioned above, Sissoko was poor again and how can a back four of full internationals leave so many spaces.... again?

Every last one of them should be ashamed of how they played in the first half.

Fair enough in the second half, but, just papering over the cracks and how much of that was down to Everton taking foot off the gas.

 

I'm very glad Pards showed the lads my man-jack thread at half-time, almost worked a treat. Shame they didn't turn up for the first half at all. Wasn't Pardew's fault at all, he put out the right team, they just had a collective shocker. Nearly a really good comeback, thanks to some tweaks by Alan. Its not just the zero points we picked up in the last two games that is the issue its the six goals we have leaked which will bit us in the arse at the end of the season
I believe we will concede more than six in a game at least twice this season as our defence is shocking
We only stayed up last year thanks to Swansea beating Wigan away after our goal deference was so awful.

Who did we sign in the summer to fix the obvious problem.
