    I just heard on Humberside that Celtic might be interested in McShane.

    Can only think it would be as Neil Lennon's body double, just in case, like.

    At half-time, the Irish are leading 1-0. A Hull City goal in the making - Stephen Hunt knocked it down for Keith Andrews to finish. Very good goal actually <ok>

    Mixed feelings. Italy don't really look like they're bothered - it's practically the Ireland reserve team they're playing!

    2006 - World Champions
    2007 - edge past Scotland in their Euro qualifying group courtesy of a last minute goal
    2008 - go out in the quarter-finals in Euro 2008
    2010 - out in the group stage in South Africa after losing to Slovakia and drawing with New Zealand
    2011 - losing 1-0 to an Irish team lead by Paul McShane

    And there you have the demise of the Italian national team

    Mcshane was actually very good! hope we keep him as he is great back up for Rosenior and can also play CB!
