I find it extremely frustrating/amusing, all these Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool fans that say if Gervinho snubs either of them to join a "middle class team with no future like Newcastle", you have to question his attitude and ambition....

It's like every player that decides to go to a club lower than their ****ing team, they automatically become **** and are all ****ers with no ambition.

I know if i was a top quality footballer, i wouldn't want to play under Arsene whinging bastard Wenger, or play for a bunch of deluded, smelly twats such as the Liverpool fans.

Sometimes people should accept that other aspects come into play. Gervinho might like it here because Cheik Tiote and Cabaye are his mates and he'd feel more comfortable, and settle in better.

To be fair, we say the same about players who go to clubs we perceive as weaker than us.

We hated on Nzogbia because he jumped ship when we got relegated and said "he wanted to go to a bigger club"..... and joined Wigan. He left to keep his high wages aswell.

 

its not just that, with the support our team gets from us, you don't see that anywhere else in the world!!

you hear teams like Arsenal and pundits saying Arsenal fans are the most patient fans.....bullshit we've been waiting 60 years an we still support our team and love the club just the same as when we were winning trophies!
to say that we had the 4/5th highest attendance in the championship last season throughout Britain it questions how the teams in the premiership like Arsenal Liverpool and Tottenham look attractive to players!!

Well when that happens i rarely see NUFC fans going on about it really. It's only if a player leaves for Higher wages that he gets stick from us.

 

Is that because u don't want to see it, another easy thing for a football fan to do when it comes to there club, look at Sunderland fans.

 

Mate, it doesn't happen to the magnititude that it does at other clubs, simple as. There's no argument in it. It's like me claiming we have the most passionate fans in England, i can't prove it, but you just know because you've experienced it.

It doesn't happen here like it does at other clubs mate. Trust me.

Of course it does, what do you think makes us any different? We constantly want Carroll and Liverpool to slip up and look **** so it would appear he made a step down. You always do these articles, presumably having scoured other boards from said clubs to get you so angry.

Maybe you should stop assuming that im angry in real life just because i use harsh language over a forum.

And like i said in previous comments, we give the players that leave for biggers wages stick, and you can't count Carroll as any ordinary transfer. Carroll said he wanted to be a life long mag and be a toon legend only to leave for Liverpool's offer of 80 grand a week. We had reason to give him ****, it's not the exact same thing mate.

If NUFC fans have a proper reason to hate on a player, they will, but it's not like we're slating every player that snubs us for a smaller club, and then claim they have no ambition and also say "oh well he mustn't be a great player after all".

We're not the same as the Arse and Bin dippers mate. I agree NUFC fans have the ability to be be fickle sometimes, but we're not as bad as the gooners and Scoursers mate

We're not the sort that will slate a player for joining say Blackburn instead of us, if he really wanted to go there.

I don't want to start one of these never ending arguments mate, just agree to disagree because its a high opinionated matter, and i don't want to fall out with some of you again.

 

What fecking ship did he jump from again? He left before we were relegated and if I recall at the time when he left he was a moody arse who hardly played for us and we were about 15th. How did he leave for keeping his wages going from us to Wigan? He left because of JFK!

As for hating, I never hated him, more felt sorry for him, deluded little fecker - fits in quite well with us really
