someone needs to rename this the moyes appreciation thread.

It says it all that while lfc were mildly unamused by losing at old trafford moyes was out about he'd put it all right etc etc then the next thing he's out saying they can't win the cl cos they don't have world class players.

We knew we were on a hiding when drawn away to utd..... we tried something new based on players and it nearly worked.... they do one to west brom right after... LFC 6 points ahead... oops.

When Man Utd go to Sunderland on Saturday I think Moyes will be so desperate for 3 points he will start Young with a mandate to dive anywhere near the box <wizard>

    Crucial week for Moyes.

He spent 6 weeks moaning about "a tough start" only to lose the first "easy" game after it.

If Moyes fails to beat Sunderland this weekend, even the right wing pro-Man U papers will go after him. It would already leave Man U's title hopes hanging by a mere thread but then, they'd have to go on the kind of run Arsenal and Chelsea teams of 10 years ago were going on.

Writing is on the wall for United now though. They've consistently lost to City and. Liverpool down the years but once teams like West Brom start going to Old Trafford believing they can win and actually do it, then it's curtains.
