Everyone has given him stick quite often, but the lad tries and tries and he's not actually been that bad. He's not be brilliant, but he's done well in cup games and well in Europa League, and he's done... OK in premier league games. But he's still young.

He seems to put in decent balls into the box sometimes and proves a decent threat coming in late on premier league games.

Fair play to him. He's stuck in and kept on trying.

Got to say wasn't convinced with before this season, but in the games he has played he has been very impressive IMO.

To be honest I think the stick has been justified but he is just a young player learning his trade. OK in the PL would be stretching it for me, I think he has been really poor, looking like a lost lamb and the pressure getting on top of him. I do think he has had some decent games in the cup (always looks good against lower level oppo) and Europe.

I'm not convinced but time will tell and he deserve to be given that time.

Another couple of years of brotherly mentoring from Shola and I reckon he'll be a shoe in for the Ballon d'Or.

He's an excellent impact player, simply because defenders have no ****ing clue what the hell he's going to do. Add tired legs to that equation and it looks potentially dangerous

I still think his brother was vastly superior at the same age, and look how he turned out...

Sammy'll be a championship player. Just hopefully not at our club <wah>

We are judging him based on one or two cup games. Still, he has done more than Obertan ever will for us in those cup games. He has potential, which is the best part of it, so the criticism in the past really is overblown. Well maybe not, considering we were in a "no room for error" situation last year, and he didn't deliver, but too much was expected of him then...
