He is a bit weird because I think he looks up and see's if anyone is making a run and if not, then seems to hold onto the ball too long. Not sure if it's because of a lack of movement in front of him. You could say he's trying to be positive and look for a forward pass and keeps looking and only as a last resort he then passes it back which makes it looks like he's dawdling on it but actually trying to be positive.

  2. I've no doubt he's trying to be positive. Its just frustrating that he stands still looking when he has space in front of him then when the opposition (usually their winger from behind) closes him he decides to run with it whilst tussling. Maybe he just likes to show off how strong he is on the ball <laugh>

<laugh> that is true. He seems to stop, let the player get near him then use his strength to just muscle away from the player again. It's like the wingers that beat a man, come back beat them again and then try beating them for a 3rd time before crossing!

  5. I didn't read it all, I saw the name calling so reacted in an attempt to stop it quickly. I saw a few of the comments and realised why it was happening and dealt with it in what I thought was the most appropriate way.

Can't say I'd seen him call me but if he did, my point still stands; I asked him to cool it. As I said, I have spoken to him and will now be keeping my eye out. If anything else should occur then I'll need to re-access <ok>

    I do <ok>

That's why he blatantly made personal insults directed at me....

Does anyone remember the Skylarker vs Lettuce battle a year or so ago? I remember having a lettuce sandwich, and eating it whole <whistle>

  7. If it is, it is. It won't take long for a ban to be issued if it is will it?

  9. Apologies, I get a lot of people saying users are wums <ok>

I hadn't seen those comments on that thread. Since they were posted before I spoke to him, I'll ignore them. However, I can't react to someone reacting that way when I did a "clique" type response to him expecting him to realise what it was for.

As I've said, he used to be a regular but he's not been on as much lately. I will keep my eyes open <ok>
