I took loads of stick over Campbell and believe he's twice the football player that some of our strikers are.

He actually cares about football which is a big advantage

the biggest asset frazier had when he was fit was his speed , as we know any forward who plays with pace is bonus, at risk of more abuse i would prefer him to johnson all day long , and you know he is going to put in a shift for you,600k cardiff must have thought santa had returned.
a good pro with a fantastic attitude imo
amonst all the cock ups this must be up there with the biggest

Who sold him though? Or can we blame PDC for this as well? Wrong decision to sell to save 600K especially as we were short on strikers at the time.

He's fit and dedicated, can use both feet, put in a cross and beat a man ...... he's also decent in the air and will play anywhere he's asked.
For what he was costing us I'd never have let him go.
If he's been foreign people would've given him more time I reckon.

Elmo was never as bad as many of our fans made out, and he become a bit of a scapegoat which didn't help the lads confidence..As for Campbell, he was never the same player following his long lay off with injury, and I honestly thought we had got a good deal out of it..Good on him for proving me wrong..

That was MoN selling him in the January, months before PDC got appointed. Left us very short aswell, which is why we rushed to get Graham...

Those two deals should convince any MON supporter that he was a poor manager who'd had his time.

As I previously said Campbell was playing ****e for us before we sold him! So IMHO MoN was right to sell! Just because you hate MoN he's going to be blamed for everything if we go down this year you'll probably say that's MoN's fault! Stop yer ****ing whining abduction moaning man!

I don't, so you're entirely incorrect as seems to be a bit of a habit. Most of the players were playing ****e under O'Neill which says a lot.

So, are you claiming a player we gave away is worth less than £5 million pound Danny Graham.

Try thinking before you answer for once ........

The way Campbell was playing yes! Campbell has obviously turned his game around it happens. Danny Graham was a gamble that didn't say off! If you want to have a moan about selling players moan at PDC for selling Sess and the Mig far worse decisions in IMHO! And you do moan and blame MoN for our woes!

No I don't, you're making that up ........ but he created lots of problems, played people out of position, surrendered games at home, played turgid football and made some ridiculous decisions.

Campbell wasn't given much of a chance and was obviously a better athlete/player than a £5 million pound fatty.

He obviously cared whereas Graham couldn't have cared less.

Campbell was given every chance! he just didn't cut it with us and you just proved my point about MoN he played players out of position because we had no cover for those positions! Your hero Di Caniodid just as bad! But as I've said before you'll never admit your wrong because your an arrogant tosser who thinks their always right!

Di Canio isn't my hero and neither is MON my villain ........ I can see both sides of each story, unlike yourself.

Campbell wasn't given a chance at all, he barely played for O'Neill and when he did it was in a demoralised team that the manager had cobbled together.

O'Neill had his chance to buy his own players and failed to create a decent team, in fact he was taking the club to relegation.

Can you really deny that he was taking the club downwards?

Do you believe Campbell is inferior to Ji, Wickham and Graham?

I said, when Campbell was chucked out of the club, that he would turn out to be a better player than Bent.

I was laughed at yet look who's more highly regarded now.
