His lad was found at the bottom of a swimming pool, he was in a coma for 48 hours, but came round with no ill effects at all. A quite amazing story and he's lucky to be alive.
Mad that he's been over here so long and his family's still thousands of miles away. Unless they're separated of course. Some things are bigger than money I'm surprised he's still in England. Glad to know the lads ok.
You would be surprised how many overseas players leave their wives & kids back home where they still have the family support network rather than being isolated in a foreign country. Even Beckham left Victoria & the kids back in the UK while he was at PSG & living in Paris
Paris is slightly different to Honduras, and with his money he could easily have a private flight to land in his back garden if he wanted. I can understand why they'd leave their families at home but for someone like Figgy who's been playing in England a long time it must be hard.
