I totally agree they couldn't do that. But I don't think it would be like that anyway with our squad. The players' will probably know who is Laudrup's ideal 1st eleven & I think they know if they work hard & keep doing what they do well they'll get their chance under him. Good healthy competition..

A few weeks back you had fans fighting between each other on here and some suggesting Laudrup was out of his depth, since then your form has picked up and now you're disappointed to lose a game against Arsenal that you should have drawn. Definitely glass half full and your one of the leagues classiest teams.
Valley I think there is something wrong within the team, personality wise , this could be the reason Bony isn't starting !
I don't think he's fully fit and Laudrup is working him up to Premier level. He had 90 mins against Brum so it could be a few weeks yet before he starts Prem games.

Yeah something doesn't seem to be adding up. I've also noticed that some players prefer passing to michu rather than bony in certain areas. As for his fitness issue's I dont buy that. Look at Richie McCaw this year. Took nearly a full year off club rugby and returned straight to captain the All Blacks in the Rugby Championship. Bony has been with us 7-8 weeks now. Surely he is fully fit by now.
It's got nothing to do with personalities. Laudrup just likes packing the midfield against top four sides. The fact that it almost never works and we might as well just field our strongest team anyway continues to elude him. As for Dai being full of the proverbial, we all knew that anyway. Catching him out in one of his various lies/fantasies was a daily occurrence on the old 606 and it would appear that nothing has changed.
But packing the midfield with bony on the bench doesn't make sense as he could easily shove michu back into midfield, after all thats what he is (a midfielder) and play bony up front on his own who's size and strength would be usable to hold the ball up and bribg in the support from midfield.
Its obvious one of the best players in the history of the game doesn't know the difference between an attacking midfielder and a defensive midfielder....... Oh wait, sorry got that wrong, thats the fans who don't know Saying Michu in midfield would still be 5 is laughable, there is a vast difference in playstyle. If Laudrup wanted an attacking midfielder he would have played Michu there, he didn't, it was clear to see all 3 midfielders (Canas, JDG and Shelvey) were not getting forward yesterday, they were all playing fairly deep to protect the back line. But don't let little things like player playstles get in the way of a good manager bashing. IT was a plan B, that didn't quite come to fruition, it wasn't bad tactics that cost us the game, but lapses in our defence...something that manager cannot account for, so really do not understand the manager bashing here, if you ask me, its pathetic.
