    Just realised, we're down to play at West Brom on New Years Day.

    What a day to have an away game. Not a bad fixture and one I always like to go to, might give it a miss this time round.

    Just think, if we'd shown a modicum of ambition for probably the most open PL season for pushing on - we could be emulating the likes of... err, Southampton??

    For NUFC to be outspent, outclassed in terms of vision, direction etc by clubs we dwarf in terms of supporter base, attendance, PL experience and probably ironically spending power is shameful.

    For me today, certainly given last weekend's debacle, has just underlined the sense of missed opportunity we all saw a mile off during JFK's 'Summer of Guff'.

    Put up or shut up time for Sunderland players today. They got rid of the manager, now they have to play well enough to justify the decision. I personally think they'll get tanked today
