This seems to be core to your campaign, so would you have the show the same courtesy you demand of others, as you are / have been on-line?
You're willing to change everything about the club, because you're scared the Allam's are going to leave if they don't get their own way? How pathetic.
10% of what? Is the supporters who Obadiah says should be given a vote? If so, how are their numbers determined? These are extremely important questions that challenge the structure and objectives of the campaign. Is it season card holders - sch + ticket buyers - match attendees on any given day - the hard core away fans - people spoken to by women with mill boards in Tesco? What is it that is wanted, as it is a basic objective that should be defined before being put forward as an argument?
Me neither, tbh; but the possible reason you gave for no September FLAG was probably correct and it is AA (or by default, his cronies) playing for time.
10% of our current home gate. I don't think there's a way of finding out how many post, but if you look at the bottom of each thread it says and who's viewing it and there's not many I've noticed who never post(though obviously there will be some).
I have changed my view on the name change. Feel free to check back to a time before you were here (Before the Premier League season had started & you jumped onboard). Read the threads "Rebranding - Hull City Tigers" or " An Open Letter" What is apparant from viewing earlier threads is how others have developed & manipulated their arguments in favour of the change to encompass the mis-truths that have been told by the owners & club. Also the supporters who are in favour of the change (or more accurately believe the owners are beyond approach) have not actually acknowledged what they were denying would ever happen back then, has actuaslly materialised. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/216887-Rebranding-Hull-City-Tigers/page7?highlight=hull tigers http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...ll-City-AFC?highlight=open letter Hull Tigers
The club would hold the vote and decide on the constituency. If asked I would include all pass holders, members of the official supporters bodies if more than one as a minimum. There could be some debate about including those people who just buy home tickets to watch the top 6, but I would be inclined to include them. I would also include our supporters that have kept the flag flying over the years all over the world even though they don't attend many matches, for example John Firth from this board. I understand that the club has lost parts of its data base as to previous pass holders ticket sales etc but that information would have been useful. Broadly that's what I'd include in the word "supporter". So apart from the obvious question about the size of each constituency who, if anybody, have I missed? I try to show the same courtesy as I ask of others. Sometimes I fail. If I do I don't mind being reminded, nobody's perfect.
A significant number of City fans object to the proposed name change, some of that number have decided to group together to combine ideas and resources and form a more structured opposition. Why some other fans feel those not against the name change should be on the group says much about them and their understanding. Posting on a thread like this that you're not against the name change serves only to offer opportunities to show the gaps in the thinking for the name change. It's all very circular now. I suggest those against the protest form their own group in support of whatever it is they're in favour of (or against, it's hard to tell) Surely, it'll be a massive group and prove your point quite easily.
Obviously this is just speculation, but if true, I think alternative owners may be the answer. If he is that single minded & arrogant in that he would prefer to piss off the overwhelming amount of his customers rather than acknowledge & deliver what they desire just to suit his own ego. Is that any way to run a business? Here's me thinking you'd need your customers onside.
Surely even those in favour of the name change can see it has so far caused more problems than its worth by leading to a divide amongst supporters? We were never going to be united on this but the arguments have grown rather bitter at times, all due to Dr Allam wanting to change the club's name. I'm not in favour of seeing the club's name changed, we shouldn't interfere with the club's heritage and should be proud to market ourselves and push our club to the next level with the club name those before us supported.
It was a **** idea from Assem Allam. However the problem has been exacerbated by a small number of persistent trolls and online attention seekers who have revelled in the attention caused by their opposing the 'NO NAME CHANGE' initiatives, leading to the bitterness and divisions.
