According to BBC they are "Both fighting for the services of the Bosnian goalstopper. Good luck to him in the future. So who'll be his replacement? Sorensen, Butland or someone else?
Sorenson is a good keeper who rarely makes mistakes, I dont think we need another keeper to come in if Bego goes
I'd go with Sorenson. Not seen enough of Butland, but I think he could do with being loaned out again, or possibility just gradually worked int the team. We'd have to get some top dollar to let Bego go though.
Butland has actually been loaned to Barnsley. Also Sorensen is 37, meaning he will retire soon So who would we buy though?
To be honest I still don't rate Begovic and never have since the debut game against Chelsea when he conceded a hatful. I know I'm going to get flamed for this but as an ex keeper myself, he flaps too much when under pressure, can't position himself at set pieces correctly, and unlike Tommy I have yet to see him save a penalty. Any big money offered for him snap their hands off. Great shot stopper but lacks in other more vital areas!
