Was talking about it on the Arsenal board discussing our allocation for Arsenal away in the cup... Will we get 9000 or 6000? I think 6000. Simple really... the police don't like us one bit. After Swindon away for example, some of my mates got nicked for chanting on the train back to London from Swindon. They were cuffed, taken off the train, allowed to explain themselves and then got uncuffed. Why should they be cuffed in the first place? We were given a reduced allocation for Swindon in the first place. Why? For Leeds away, teams should get over 5000 tickets for the away end in the cup. We wanted 5000. The police wanted to give us 1500. We eventually got 3000 but it took the police about 4 weeks to decide on how many tickets we would get. I went and we were escorted all the way from London on train, put on coaches at Wakefield, escorted to the ground and got put in just under 3 hours early. We were then kept in for an hour after the game. I know Leeds v Chelsea is huge but really? It's ridiculous. There have been many more examples but there is just two... We'll probably just get given the 6000 allocation for Arsenal.
To be fair, that Leeds escorting was brilliant. Felt like royalty. I really hope we do get the 9000 allocation as that will just make it more likely I will be able to get a ticket. I reckon we will.
