There are rumours doing the rounds that we were in talks with him. It seems that Reading are prepared to offer more cash. How many players is that they've had over us now?
We can't complain about losing players to other teams because they've offered more money. We've grabbed a few players that way for the previous 2 seasons and look where it got us. Personally I'm glad there's at least some control over what we pay in wages. Even though we still need another striker I'm not that sad we didn't get him.
TF said that he had "learnt lessons" and I think this is showing in the fact that we are being gazumped on certain players. I don't have a problem our refusing to pay over the odds.
