Not only did they decieve the world as the competition can only be played in the winter, and they also decieved the world about a 'legacy' because all stadiums and hotels will be torn down after the WC because theres no need for them as the population is small. There will also be roads going nowhere after the huge demolition job. Talk about gross stupidity and greed of FIFA to spend billions in building work and equipment only to demolish everything. Fooking climate change lobby are quiet as they should be kicking off about the carbon footprint of this fiasco. There's not even enough workers anywhere in the gulf region when it comes to oil rich states, so they just bus labour in from the sub continent of India and Africa and treat them as slaves.
England didn't go for 2022. Australia, USA and a few others did, still all better options than Qatar though
