With Fletcher out id go with a flexible 5 man midfield with Altidore up top. We can't afford to make the early mistakes we made against Arsenal and we have to win the midfield battle, id like to see something like this. Sunderland 4-5-1/4-3-3 ......................Westwood........................ Celustka.....Diakite.....Roberge....Colback ..........Cattermole.. Ki....Gardner............ Johnson...................................Giaccherini .........................Altidore............................. How would you line up
Cabral for Gardner otherwise sound IMO. The only reason i say that is we will need a more defensive MF for sure. I reckon we might see this tho larsson-----Catts----KI------Johnson -----Giaccherini-------- --------------Altidore---------
Would you not want Celustka back in at right back and Diakite in.place of Cuellar? They have been our best two defenders thus far.
Personally would like to see Westwood Cetluska...O'Shea...Roberge...Colback AJ...Cattermole...KISY...Mavris Giachh Jozy
Nope, as much as I agree that they have been our best 2 Gardner and Cuellar played well and didnt come under many problems Playing the same defence week in/week out isnt going to set a good example unless they are on serious form Plus if you check average ratings last season, apparently Cuellar was our highest…(****ing worrying in my eyes, confusing also as Mig/Rose/Fletch I'd of imagined to have higher)
you got it wrong, on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 is the best...... Seriously, I wouldnt judge **** all on our performance against Peterborough. We won in the cup tie under PDC as well
I know he's an 'automatic' pick when fit and available but I think he's garbage and a complete liability who is only playing premier league football because he was carried to titles at Man Utd. i think Diakite and Roberge is our most promising pairing. Most good centre half pairings have a powerhouse and a ball player
