Inbetween R's Part Duex is the title of the latest QPR Podcast. The usual crew are joined by the Inbetweeners co-creator & QPR fan Iain Morris. Ex-Rangers keeper Lee Harper is also on the show . Listen here........ http://playbackmedia.co.uk/podcasts/qprpodcast/
Have listened to many podcasts. And as a supporter I will continue to do so (beats the usual ****e on the radio in the car). But feel it never really gets into the nitty gritty. Quite funny at times tho......like it when they have a guest, especially a QPR player past or present. Gallen was good lately.
I thought the one last week with the fella from 'The Inbetweeners' was absolutely hilarious. And as Newbury says, interesting when they speak to the past players (John Byrne last week). Well worth a listen.
I think they have a "relationship" with the club where by they send over a player every couple of months hence why the show has started to get splinters in its arse. They want their star guests to much. Who could forget the Park Ji Sung secial - well worth it......
The pods are quite self indulgent sometimes. They're just regular joes, so the attraction is always going to be the QPR chat, rather than the impromptu standup routines about their lives. Like NMhoop i'd often prefer they go into a little bit more in depth QPR analysis. The one a couple of weeks ago with "Henry Lloyd Hughes" didn't get onto any QPR related topics until 10 minutes in, which isn't what anyone wants to hear. I know they all have a drink during recording, which could explain the tangential of the show sometimes... I still listen to it every week though, and when the pod's good it's really good.
The depressing introduction from Chris Charles on this weeks show would make you think we were bottom of the league and not 3 points clear at the top FFS!
