Whit the **** do you have to get up to to get Trojans and viruses? My main development machine has no protection on it at all. No problems. Two other laptops have MSE, never catches **** all. On all my machines I occasionally examine the running processes to look for anything untoward. Never find anything. Just what the **** are you ****s doing that gets you infected? If I was cynical I would suggest it was your anti-virus software making itself useful. There hasn't been a malicious virus in the wild in almost two decades. Trojans you get by saying yes please.
Same here gambol, the burds machine has spybot because she is a bit of a spazz with computers but I haven't had anything on mine since I bought it with no problems at all and I watch an unethical amount of porn.
