**** game but we never looked in trouble. Would definitely give Pross a place on the bench on Saturday, not sure why we played Sagbo out on the wing. Quinn, Meyler and Boyd were disappointing.
Competent, yet uninspiring. What was prozzies miss all about?! Gutted for him cos he looked full of confidence after his goal.
Hope Leeds get through against Toon and we get them, would be good to have some sort of local derby match this season.
I don't understand all the negativity around this competition. Even when we win (and comfortably, might I add. We were never going to not win that game) people are moaning about the quality of the match, even when they didn't go! This is the exact reason the cup has lost its magic; because everyone has stopped supporting it. Too many fickle fans who say they're City til they die or whatever but won't go to certain games if the team isn't going to be strong enough for them. It's a pathetic attitude.
Yeah fair point actually. Not being from the area sometimes I forget quite where clubs are, only ever seem to focus on Leeds haha, but you're right.
If the players got some support instead of groaning every time they pass it backwards from a load of ****wits who don't understand the game then they'd play better. Despite that I still don't think we played badly.
Clearly we were watching different games. His game all night consisting of passing it out to the wing, collecting it back, and then passing the ball backwards where Rosie or Dudge would then run it out of play.
Proschwitz's interview was weird. First Prozzy said we were into the 2nd round, then corrected himself to say we're into the 3rd round which is still wrong of course. Burnsy then suggested it was his first goal at the KC since Cardiff in May (his last game at the KC ) Nick seemed awkward dodging the questions about his performances.
please log in to view this image Come on, you Tutonic terror - I want to see this more often! This would be a good avatar but I ain't getting rid of Renton.
So you don't understand the game either then? It doesn't matter. All these brilliant supporters go on about how they'd support the team in the bottom division. Since when did we get so snobby? Are we too good to watch City against Huddersfield's second string now?
We beat a top half Championship side with our B team tonight. The big picture is we've gone 3 games undefeated. It's all about belief and this team are starting to believe in themselves.
If he'd have smashed that sitter in, we would have been calling for him to be in the starting line-up on Saturday. I thought he did enough to justify a place on the bench.
