I really don't want him to go there but I guess that makes me the possessive ex. Doesn't want him anymore but wants no-one else to have him either!

I kind of hoped he would go to a Championship club and then bring them up.

Also, it would make me miserable hearing all the Sunderland fans saying they don't want him - I think I might not have let go of Tony yet......

    No doubt!

I wasn't chomping at the bit for him to leave but agreed that it was time for things to change.

Still wish him well and hope that he is welcomed wherever he ends up.

I think Sunderland are more likely to go for RDM or Gus Poyet. However I do think that TP would keep them in the PL but would their supporters take to him. Besides Sunderland is a hell of a distance from Sandbanks. It will certainly be interesting to see who they pick as their new man.

To sack a manager just 5 games into the season smacks of desperation IMO but PDC would have never been my choice in the first place.

Personally although I thought Di Caneo might do well there, it was always a massive gamble cos he's not proven in the EPL. But after FIVE games For Christ's sake?
I very much doubt he will get the Sunderland job but after all the stick they gave us in the past. Sorry but I will laugh my B*****ks OFF! It won't happen though. I wish them good luck they need it and quickly. Am I over Pulis yes I am. Good times ahead fellow Stokies. Oh and welcome to the Stoke board Zozozela <ok>

Sunderland fans would not wan't Pulis, they had to much negative football from Martin O'Neill (sp), it could be a struggle for them this year.

I think you'd have to say Di Matteo is the obvious favourite, but Pulis could be very close behind him.
Poyet is looking a decent enough manager, but I think he may be too much of a risk for a team who all the bookies have at evens for relegation.
As we all know, Pulis can grind out results and keep a team up, but it won't be pretty, but RDM could do it too, whilst being a little easier on the eye.

And I almost forgot, welcome on board zozozela <ok>

It seem's that Flamini did say something to Mark Wilson. Ref Mike Dean is fluent in French and the rumour has it he has reported it to the FA <yikes> I also read quote.

"The F.A. may take action" BUT for the life of me I can not find anything official on this. It's on my friends Facebook page.
